GOODWORTH CLATFORD WI BRIC-a-BRAC STALL 
It's that time of year again when we collect good quality Bric-a-Brac for our stall at Goodworth Clatford's Flower Show and Fete on August Bank Holiday Monday!
If you have items in good condition and in working order which need a new home, we will be happy to accept them. Please call Dianne Moore on 364148 to arrange a time when items can be delivered to her in Goodworth Clatford, or to arrange collection. Your help is always appreciated! |
BELLRINGERS' BOOKSTALL
 The Bellringers' Bookstall with its huge selection of paperbacks to suit all tastes is a regular feature of the Goodworth Clatford Flower Show and Fete, for which we gather stock throughout the year. If, therefore, you have PAPERBACKS which need a new home (please NO hardbacks, Readers Digest or magazines!), these can be left at the rear of either church (inside) from where we will collect them. Alternatively, please give me a call. Please don't bring them to the stall on the day! It takes time and manpower to sort the books, both of which are stretched to the limit on Fete day! Don't forget to come along to the Fete and choose your late-holiday or winter reading – we normally have around 1,000 books from which you can choose.

 They've done it again!
Congratulations to Hilary Ditchburn whose hard work behind the scenes helped Hardy's Cottage Garden Plants at Laverstoke to win a fourteenth gold medal at the 2009 Chelsea Flower Show! Hilary, a Server for the 8.00 am Holy Communion services at St. Peter's, masterminds much of the plant production at Hardy's, specialising in providing plants at the peak of condition for Chelsea, in addition to supplying plants for other designers and exhibitors. |
