Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of a completed booking form and deposit (if appropriate). All booking are subject to the Terms and Conditions set out below.

Good quality cutlery is available for hire at 5p per item plus a refundable deposit of £20.00.
A laundry charge is made for each tablecloth used (large £1.50, small £1.00).
Rubbish disposal is charged for as appropriate at 60p per sack.
Where events include music any liability the Club has to the Performing Right Society will also be charged. This does not apply to private parties.
For some functions organisers may be asked to pay a deposit of £60.00 against the possibility of damage or late cancellation. The deposit will be fully refunded if more than three months notice is received of cancellation. 50 % of the deposit will be refunded in more than one months notice is received of cancellation. The full deposit will be forfeit if less than one month's notice is received of a cancellation of the booking.
To book the billiards / snooker table, please complete the advance bookings sheet in the billiard room or telephone the Stewards.
When hiring the barbecue, the Club will provide the fuel trays, grills and the following tools:
- 2 large forks
- 2 large tongs
- 2 large spatulas
- 1 wire cleaning brush
Terms and Conditions of Use of the Club and Facilities
The Club
The facilities you have booked in the Club will be handed over to you in a clean and tidy condition. If you have any queries or complaints on arrival please contact the Steward immediately.
The following items are available:
Hall
- 100 chairs
- 11 2'x2'tables
- 12 2'6" x 6' tables
Kitchen
- Fridge, Cooker (double oven & 4 hot plates), hot cupboard, large urn and 2 kettles, sink (washing-up liquid, clothes and tea towels, although you may wish to bring your own), oven cloths
- 96 dinner plates, side plates, cups & saucers, 12 vegetable dishes and assorted cutlery
- 96 sets of cutlery x 7 place settings, 24 tablespoons available for hire
- 12 milk jugs, 12 sugar bowls, 10 gravy boats, 10 salt & pepper pots
- Various cooking utensils (please check availability of items before event)
- A small selection of glasses of various sizes. You are advised to supply your own glasses for your function
- Waste bin. Please note the hirer is responsible for removing all rubbish except for that in the kitchen rubbish bin. You should bring bin liners for any additional rubbish

- Billiard table with wooden and cloth covers
Cleaning utensils
- Large brushes, dustpan and small brush, and by the cupboard between the Committee Room and the Gentlemen's toilet. There is a mop and bucket and additional dustpan and brushes in the kitchen
Barbecue
- Barbecue is available with utensils. The hirer is responsible for providing his I her own charcoal and removing waste material from the site
- Use of the barbecue is entirely at the hirer's own risk, and the Club will not be liable for any claims relating to damage or injury caused by use of the barbecue
The Hirer
- The Club should be handed over in a clean condition, comparable to the state in which you found it. This includes cleaning of the barbecue and implements if used.
- Saturday functions: Please note that access to the Club on Sunday is not available, therefore all cleaning and clearing must be completed on Saturday after the event unless by prior agreement with the Steward
- All rubbish, except the rubbish in the kitchen bin, should be removed
- Please ensure all electrical items are switched off and the fridge door left open when you leave. Urns and kettles should be clean and empty
- Failure to comply with the above could result in additional charges being added to the hiring cost
- Payment for cost of hire and use of the facilities will be due within 14 days of receipt of invoice, issued by the Treasurers.
- The Hirer is responsible for the well being and safety of children on the premises and should ensure adequate qualified supervision is undertaken.
First Aid
There is a First Aid box in the kitchen. If you use any of these items, please inform the steward so that they can be replaced.
